Onder oude balken en hijsinstallaties reikt een dwarsgeplaatst zonnig trapmeubel naar het nieuwe dakterras. Plaatselijk is de thermische schil binnen zichtbaar gemaakt, met daarin slanke stalen ramen en een bovenlicht met drievoudig glas. De kap is \u2018tot passiefhuisniveau\u2019 ge\u00efsoleerd. De verwarmde vloer, in combinatie met ingebouwde convectoren en ventilatie met warmteterugwinning zorgen voor het juiste comfort.
